Description

Musashi is an existing automotive manufacturing facility. In the assembly area in the back of the plant the floor had a 3/8” trowel down coating with Epoxy topcoats. H & H Painting removed the existing trowel down coating using PCD’s on a large grinder. Once all of the trowel down epoxy coating had been removed we then diamond ground, polished, and densified the concrete to an 800 grit level.

Description

This project was an old break room with a VCT tile. All the tile was removed exposing some large holes and cracks in the concrete. These were patched with a combination of Epoxy patch materials and urethane cement. All patchwork was diamond ground to a smooth surface and a three-coat 100% solids epoxy coating with anti-slip was applied.

A new construction project for a grow operation. We installed a highly abrasive resistant epoxy full broadcast coating with a Polyaspartic topcoat. A total 1/8 inch overall thickness coating system.

Description

A continuation of the Truck Dock Canopy project that was completed in 2014. The underside consisted of cleaning via pressure washing to remove dirt and contaminants. Followed by mechanically abrading all rusted areas. All areas were primed with a coat of high solids, rust-inhibitive, penetrating epoxy primer followed by an application of an exterior acrylic dry fall.

Description

The project consisted of painting the ceiling and walls of an existing warehouse area. Prior to painting the walls and ceilings, all areas were thoroughly cleaned to remove dirt and contaminants. After protecting the floor and adjacent manufacturing areas, all painting was completed.

Clariant Corporation – Warehouse Epoxy Line Stripping – Albion

Description

The project consisted of the removal of existing line stripes and the installation of new line stripes. We shot blasted the existing line stripes to remove the existing failing coating. Installed a prime coat of a polymeric amine epoxy followed by a topcoat of a high-solids polyaspartic.

Description

This project consisted of general maintenance painting throughout a facility. All areas had to be thoroughly cleaned and painted. The work was completed during a shutdown and during operating hours. All of the work completed during operating hours was able to be completed without any disruption.

Mol-Son Tool Shop Addition / Renovation

Description

The addition of a new 9610 sq./ft tool shop expansion along with the renovation of the existing tool shop area. The project involved painting exposed ceilings and ductwork, walls, and steel columns. The walls included a painted wainscot lower section to match the existing color scheme of the existing facility. Also shot blasting existing concrete floor, patching, and applying a 3 coat epoxy/urethane floor coating system to the new and existing shop area.

Description

A new state-of-the-art cast iron foundry. Construction included 200,000 sq. ft. of production, 40,000 sq. ft. of warehouse, 18,000 sq. ft. of new office space, and various support buildings. Work included painting walls, all structural steel, color coding pipes, and column identification all completed within a challenging 14-month schedule.
