H & H performed commercial painting services with high articulating boom lifts, multi metallic colored Tnemec epoxies, and high visible ceiling coatings. Our Floor division came into prep and epoxy the mechanical room floors with anti-slip silica sand broadcast into the topcoat.

ConAgra Truck Dock Canopy – Painting Of Underside – Quincy

Description

A continuation of the Truck Dock Canopy project that was completed in 2014. The underside consisted of cleaning via pressure washing to remove dirt and contaminants. Followed by mechanically abrading all rusted areas. All areas were primed with a coat of high solids, rust-inhibitive, penetrating epoxy primer followed by an application of an exterior acrylic dry fall.

Gerald R. Ford International Airport Parking Deck- Grand Rapids

Description

The addition of an 8 1/2 acre roof deck to the parking structure at the Gerald R Ford International Airport.  The work included sandblasting every weld on the entire structure and coating the welds with galvanized paint. All of the finished products needed to be tested by an independent agency to ensure the specified product mils were achieved.  A detailed work plan was required to make sure schedules and testing requirements were met.

Description

A new state-of-the-art cast iron foundry. Construction included 200,000 sq. ft. of production, 40,000 sq. ft. of warehouse, 18,000 sq. ft. of new office space, and various support buildings. Work included painting walls, all structural steel, color coding pipes, and column identification all completed within a challenging 14-month schedule.

Description

The project entailed cleaning of new concrete slab, applying black concrete acid stain, and then top-coated with a urethane sealer. An anti-slip additive was added to the finish coat for slip resistance.

Description

Application of a water-based acrylic semi-transparent stain in a stairway. The floors were first cleaned with a cleaner/degreaser followed by an acid etch. After the application of the semi-transparent stain, two coats of a high-performance industrial clear coat were applied followed by two coats of an industrial floor finish for increased durability.

Description

The project entailed the installation of a 1,000 sq ft, 7 color epoxy floor coating. Prep work included diamond grinding and shot blasting followed by epoxy coating. The topcoat was a high-ware Satin finish urethane.

One the largest projects H&H has been apart of with over a million in painting work this complex and challenging project turned out great for a show piece in Portage. Our expert installers were busy with not only the commercial painting but this project also included installations of vinyl wall covering, marker board paint, exterior high performance coatings, sealed floors and Intumescent painting of structural beams.
