Lead-Safe Certified Firm

H & H Painting has taken proactive steps to be the leading painting contractor in Central and Western Michigan, going above and beyond the required certifications and safety provisions necessary. H & H Painting is a certified lead-safe firm with an individual who is accredited to perform the required training of employees.

As of April 2010, federal law requires that:

  • Renovation firms must be certified under the EPA’s Renovation, Repair, and Painting Rule

  • Individuals must be trained in lead-safe work practices

  • Training providers must be accredited by EPA

LEED Green Associate

In December 2010, project manager/estimator Cody Colmenter passed the requirements set forth by the USGBC and became a LEED Green Associate. H & H Painting is committed to future advancements in green technology within the construction industry. With an accredited individual on staff, H & H has the resource to comply with all LEED achievements.

OSHA 30-Hour

H & H Painting also acknowledges all the safety requirements presented by OSHA. Management staff has always had a continuous improvement attitude when it comes to safety education. Furthering our knowledge on new trends in construction safety and abiding by all regulations presented by OSHA. All of H&H Paintings project managers are 30 hour OSHA certified. With these certifications you can be assured that the work we are performing on your project will always meet or exceed OSHA Safety standards.

OSHA 10-Hour/ First Aid

Keeping up with our safety mindset at H & H Painting we believe that the OSHA 10 hr and First Aid training is a minimum requirement for all of our full time field employees. This training covers all the basics an employee would need to operate safely on a construction job site.
